The Town of Wellsville community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Ashley R. Robichaud, 38, and her 6-year-old daughter, Emersyn E. Robichaud, who were killed in a tragic ATV accident on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
According to the New York State Police, Ashley was operating an all-terrain vehicle through a pasture with her two young children when the ATV overturned. Ashley and Emersyn suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead following the crash.
A third child, Ashley’s 3-year-old child, was also involved in the accident and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The child was transported to Golisano Children’s Hospital for medical treatment and is expected to recover.
